All Things Creative, cont. (Continued from Page 1)
Building on the success of last year's Halloween block party, Misti estimates that about 10,000 people will attend. This alcohol and drug free event is geared towards providing a safe and fun venue to celebrate Halloween. Alii Drive will be closed to traffic between the King Kamehameha Hotel and the Royal Kona Resort from 2 p.m. until midnight. Check out the non-stop entertainment with three stages of music sponsored by All Things Creative, Kapa Radio and Native FM. Dress up as your favorite character and compete in the costume contest. Cash prizes will be awarded for most creative and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Alii Drive will be transformed into an outdoor market with yummy treats, great shopping and a spooky surprise or two. This year's theme is "Thriller" and Icicles, Intrigue Design Salon and West Williams Productions is presenting a hair show to go along with this year's theme. Is the Jheri Curl coming back? Whether you decide to dress up like Elvis, the Little Mermaid, Sponge Bob, or even Princess Leia, it's a guaranteed great time!
